Research interests: I am interested in understanding the structural and mechanistic basis by which bacterial proteins interact with each other and contribute towards disease and antibiotic resistance through cryo-EM.
Background: I studied biochemistry at Imperial College London, where I became interested in structural biology. I did a research master’s in structural biology at Imperial in the Costa lab, focussing on biochemical and structural characterisation of T6SS Hcp toxins. I am doing my PhD project with Dave Roper and Melissa, studying a subset of protein complexes implicated in bacterial cell wall synthesis in different organisms.

Hobbies: Crochet, knitting, reading, and hiking.
